I See You

When You Are Carrying Most Of The Weight Alone

Because this is something I see again and again.
And it hurts in a way that isn’t always easy to talk about.

I See You

I see you when family members refuse to help.

Or when “helping” means telling you how you should be doing things differently.

From a distance.

From a phone call.

From a short visit.

I see you when advice comes from people who are not living the day-to-day reality.

The confusion.

The repeated questions.
The unpredictable moods.

The constant decisions.

I see you when people say,

“Have you tried…”
“You should just…”

“Why don’t you…”

as if this were a simple problem waiting for the right solution.

I see you carrying the responsibility —
and sometimes the criticism —
at the same time.

And I see the strength it takes to keep showing up anyway.

If you’re the one carrying most of it right now…

I see you.
