Caregiver Joy Club
You spend your days caring for everyone else.
Once a month, let someone care for you.
A beautifully illustrated Joy in Practice.
A heartfelt letter from one caregiver to another.
Thoughtful little surprises.
A monthly reminder that you matter, too.
Join by the 20th to receive next month’s envelope.
A little encouragement, one envelope at a time.
Caregiving has a way of quietly shrinking your world. Days fill with appointments, medications, paperwork, and responsibilities, while there seems to be less and less room for you.
The Caregiver Joy Club grew from a simple idea: What if something beautiful arrived in a caregiver’s mailbox each month that asked nothing from them?
So once a month, I send an envelope filled with original artwork, encouragement, and thoughtful little surprises—a reminder that you are seen, you are valued, and you aren’t walking this road alone.
Inside every envelope…
Joy in Practice
Our signature 5×7 illustrated keepsake featuring an original Nora watercolor and one gentle idea to help make caregiving just a little easier.
Tea with Nora
A heartfelt letter filled with encouragement, stories, and honest moments from one caregiver to another.
Little Joys
A rotating collection of thoughtful surprises—stickers, bookmarks, mini art, tea, prayer cards, and other small delights.
A Gentle Breath
An occasional breath prayer tucked inside to help you pause, breathe, and remember you’re held.
Why I Started the Caregiver Joy Club
I didn’t start this because I had extra time.
I started it because caregiving became my whole world.
My husband lives with Lewy body dementia.
My mom has advanced Alzheimer’s.
Some days I forget what it feels like to be Deborah instead of “the caregiver.”
Making art reminded me.
A cup of tea reminded me.
A kind letter reminded me.
I thought…
What if caregivers everywhere had something beautiful and encouraging arrive once a month that asked nothing from them?
That’s how the Caregiver Joy Club began.

This little envelope might be for you if…
You’re caring for a spouse, parent, grandparent, sibling, friend—or someone else you love.
Your world has gotten a little smaller since caregiving began.
You’re usually the one remembering everyone else.
You could use something in the mailbox besides another bill or insurance notice.
You’d love one small thing each month that belongs entirely to you.
You don’t have to be caring for someone with dementia.
Things You’re Wondering…
Can I gift a Caregiver Joy Club membership?
Absolutely! Caregiver Joy Club memberships make lovely gifts for caregivers who could use a little encouragement in their mailbox each month.
Subscribe using your payment information, then email me with the recipient’s name and mailing address so I can make sure their membership is set up correctly.
And because every gift deserves something to unwrap, you’ll receive a printable Caregiver Joy Club gift card that you can give or email to them, letting them know a little joy is headed their way.
Their monthly Caregiver Joy Club envelopes will be mailed directly to them.
What size is Joy in Practice?
Each Joy in Practice illustrated keepsake is 5×7 inches—an easy size to tuck into a journal, display on a little easel, pin to a bulletin board, or place in a standard 5×7 frame.
Can I pause or cancel my membership?
Absolutely. Life changes, and sometimes you may need to step away for a while.
If you just need a break, you can pause your membership up to 3 months and then pick up where you left off. Or, you can cancel anytime—no long-term commitment and no guilt.
Charter Members: Your $11 monthly rate is yours for as long as your Charter Membership remains active. If you cancel and decide to rejoin later, you’ll return at the current membership rate.
What if I'm traveling when my envelope arrives?
Your Caregiver Joy Club envelope will be sent through USPS and can wait in your mailbox until you return, or you can arrange to have USPS hold your mail while you’re away.
If you’d rather I hold your envelope, just let me know before the 1st of the month, and I’ll happily wait to send it until you’re home.
Can I change my mailing address?
Of course. Just let me know before the 1st of the month, and I’ll update your mailing address for that month’s envelope.
Changes received after the 1st may not take effect until the following month’s mailing.
Do you ship internationally?
Not yet. For now, the Caregiver Joy Club is available to U.S. mailing addresses only.
I’m starting small and keeping things simple while I get our little mail club off the ground.
Is the artwork original?
Yes! Every Joy in Practice begins with original artwork created by me.
The 5×7 piece you receive is a printed reproduction of my original artwork, rather than the one-of-a-kind original painting.
What if my envelope doesn't arrive?
If your Caregiver Joy Club envelope hasn’t arrived by the 20th of the month, please let me know and I’ll send a replacement.
If something inside arrives badly damaged, send me a quick note and photo and I’ll do my best to make it right.
Is the Caregiver Joy Club only for dementia caregivers?
Not at all. The Caregiver Joy Club grew out of my own experience caring for loved ones with dementia, so you’ll occasionally see that experience reflected in what I create. But this little club is for caregivers of all kinds.
Whether you’re caring for a spouse, parent, child, family member, or friend—if much of your life is spent caring for someone you love, there’s a place for you here.
You deserve to be cared for, too.
Before you go
However long you stayed —
whether you explore more or close the page now —
I hope one thing remains clear:
You don’t have to earn care.
You don’t have to explain your exhaustion.
You don’t have to be strong here.
You are already doing something deeply human.
And you are seen.
