Welcome.
I’m really glad you’re here.
If you found your way to this page from I See You, that tells me something important.
You were looking for connection —
not answers,
not advice,
not someone to tell you how to do this better.
Just a place to land.
You’re in the right place.
This space exists for caregivers.
Especially the ones who are tired.
The ones who are holding a lot quietly.
The ones who don’t need fixing — just understanding.
I See You was written to offer recognition, not instruction.
This page follows that same intention.
There is nothing you need to do here.
Nothing you need to sign up for.
Nothing you need to explain.
You’re welcome to stay for a moment —
or come back later —
or simply know this place exists.
A quick hello from me
My name is Deb.
I’m a caregiver too — walking this road alongside my husband,
and learning, unlearning, and holding things one day at a time.
I write because caregiving can feel isolating,
and because being seen can make a hard moment feel just a little less lonely.
I won’t teach you here.
I won’t tell you what you should be doing.
I’ll simply continue to say what the book says:
I see you.
If you choose to explore further
On LivingWithLewy.net, you’ll find:
-
quiet reflections for caregivers
-
simple explanations of dementia and caregiving realities
-
encouragement for days when things feel heavy
-
words that name what often goes unspoken
Everything is written with the same care as the book —
no overwhelm, no noise, no pressure.
You’re welcome to visit when it feels right.
Some caregivers choose to receive a short monthly note from me —
gentle words, encouragement, and reflections.
If that ever feels supportive, you’ll find the option on the site.
And if not, that’s completely okay.
Before you go
However long you stayed —
whether you explore more or close the page now —
I hope one thing remains clear:
You don’t have to earn care.
You don’t have to explain your exhaustion.
You don’t have to be strong here.
You are already doing something deeply human.
And you are seen.
