Welcome to the Living with Lewy Cottage
Come as you are — tired, teary, tea-stained — this little cottage was made for caregivers like you.

Oh hey, I’m Nora Poppins.
Whimsical guide, tea devotee, and your slightly eccentric sidekick on this wild ride called dementia caregiving.
You won’t find me in a medical journal or leading a seminar in a lab coat. More likely, I’m daydreaming in a cozy garden chair somewhere — journal in one hand, a well-steeped cup of tea in the other — whispering the reminder every caregiver needs to hear:
“You’re not doing it wrong. This is just really hard.”
I tend to show up when things feel like a bit much — Not to magically fix it all — I’m whimsical, not delusional — but to offer a soft landing spot, a little hope, and maybe a dry comment about the latest plot twist your loved one’s brain has cooked up.
Born from real-life caregiving chaos, inspired by forget-me-nots and Mary Poppins (if she traded her prim heels for rubber rain boots — great for shower day), I’m here to walk with you through the fog of Lewy Body and other dementias — one gentle, human, slightly magical step at a time.
So pull up a chair. There’s tea. There’s truth. And yes, there’s help — with a dash of humor to keep us from completely losing it.
